It's bedtime
Time to turn out the light
So farewell and adieu
Goodbye and goodnight to you
Sleep well and dream good dreams
Of snow and love and other such themes
For tomorrow will come quicker than ought
You'll wake up much sooner than you might have thought
So lay your head so softly down
And please make sure to forget your frown
'Cause when God protects you throught the night
A happy face would be a beautiful sight
And poke your toes out through the sheets
For blankets are much to warm for feets
But snuggle up and tuck in your chin
Since that's where every smile begins
Now while your eyes begin to close
Walk along an endless rainbow
And think of colours bright as can be
